Following an in-depth investigation, the Polynesian Competition Authority authorised Brasserie de Tahiti, which operates in the upstream drinks market, to take control of SARL TOA Distribution, SARL Société de Gestion d’Approvisionnement et de Marketing and SCI OFAI, as well as Société de Distribution et d’Exploitation Commerciale, which operate in the food retail sector, subject to behavioural commitments.
Tactics (Loraine Donnedieu de Vabres-Tranié, Florent Vever) and Deloitte’s Economic Advisory team assisted the notifying party. The work carried out, which focused on the effects of Brasserie de Tahiti’s diversification strategy, made it possible to resolve the competition concerns expressed during the investigation.
